Administrative Assistant (PR0280/20-21)
The appointee is expected to (a) provide administrative and operational support to the Division’s teaching and research-related activities; (b) be responsible for curriculum-related and admission duties; (c) organize various recruitment and student activities as well as school events; (d) handle students’ enquiries; (e) coordinate research grant applications and support research personnel recruitment; (f) liaise with internal units and external bodies; and (g) perform other tasks as assigned.
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree with at least one year of relevant work experience. A good command of English and Chinese including Putonghua, and proficiency in computer software applications are required. The appointee should be meticulous, attentive to details, able to handle multi-tasks and work under pressure. He/She should be a self-starter and a good team player with a keen interest in working with people of different cultural backgrounds.
Initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract up to two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
