Senior Information Security Officer (PR0142/20-21)
The appointee will join the Information Security Unit responsible for providing information security (IS) support and implementing IS related control measure for the University.
Conduct security risk assessment on IT infrastructure;
Handle IS incidents and implement relevant remediation control;
Provide recommendation in compliance with the University’s IS policy;
Develop security best practices/guidelines/policies and conduct IS awareness trainings;
Manage vendors for IS related projects; and
Provide IS related support and advice.
A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline;
At least five years of work experience in IS or IT infrastructure;
Knowledge of incident/vulnerability management or cyber-threat hunting;
Possession of IS-related certification, e.g. CISSP, SSCP, CSSLP, CCFP, CIFI, CISA or CEH is preferred;
Strong communication skill with a good command of both spoken and written English and Cantonese; and
Self-motivated, and able to work independently.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.
Initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of 2 years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement.
