Senior Assistant Manager (Global Engagement) (PR0231/20-21)

The Office, with a fast-paced work environment, is looking for a creative and resourceful professional to plan, manage, implement and deliver targeted initiatives and functions with the primary goals to develop strategic partnerships, promote internationalisation and encourage student mobility. The appointee will be supervising a small team of professionals.

Applicants should possess a recognised degree with at least seven years of work experience. They should have strong leadership, analytical, organisational, and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to deal with ambiguity and cope with changes. Proven experience in partnerships strategy development, overseas work and/or study experience will be an advantage. Applicants should also have an excellent command of written and spoken English. They should be a self-starter with outgoing personality and positive attitude, able to work effectively with people of different cultures, enthusiastic about working with students, able to multi-task, work independently and under pressure. The job requires occasional travel overseas.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test.

Initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of up to 2 years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
