Assistant to the President (PR0229/20-21)
The appointee is expected to provide executive support to the President, which includes planning and coordination of the work of the President’s Office; preparing proposals, presentation, speeches, correspondences and reports; liaison with internal and external stakeholders with different background; and communication with the University Grants Committee, government bureaux and other universities, local and overseas.
Applicants should have a good honours degree and substantial experience in supporting senior executives. Experience in working with a diversity of professionals with an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) is essential. The right candidate should have exceptional presentation, interpersonal & communication skills, strong analytical ability and good sense of judgement. He/She should be mature, reliable, detail-minded and able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
Professional qualifications or work experience in the related field is desirable. Experience in management consulting is a plus.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written assessment.
Initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of three years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
