Hong Kong Organic Resource Centre
The Centre is the first local independent certification body for organic production in Hong Kong. It provides organic certification service and actively promotes organic movement to the public through mass publicity and educational campaigns. We are seeking passionate and energetic candidates who are interested in organic and agricultural development in Hong Kong to fill the following position:
Project Assistant (PR0095/20-21)
The appointee is expected to assist the Centre Executive/Assistant Centre Executive in the execution of promotional activities. He/She will participate in digital marketing for increasing awareness about sustainable and local organic farming. He/She is also responsible for media, advertising, promotion and production execution, such as but not limited to online contents creation, video editing and shooting, social media contents update, marketing materials design and layout, press materials writing and handling publication works. He/She may occasionally be required to work outside normal office hours and perform other duties as assigned.
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, environmental science, marketing, communications or related disciplines, preferably with one year experience in social media, search engine optimisation or relevant areas. They should be self-motivated, out-going, energetic, able to work independently, creative with strong communication skills. Good writing skills in Chinese and English; and good computer skills including MS Office and Chinese word-processing are essential. Knowledge of photography, Photoshop and videography is an advantage.
Initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of one year. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
