Institute of Bioresource and Agriculture (IBA)

The Institute is newly established under the Faculty of Science. It serves as a knowledge hub that engages in bioresource conservation and sustainable agriculture, promotes and offers professional and public education in sustainable consumption, bioresource and organic agriculture. The Institute is seeking a suitable candidate to fill the following position:

Project Co-ordinator (PR0300/19-20)

The appointee is expected to assist the Director of IBA in taking up coordination, management and supervisory roles in the Institute. Duties include project management, promotion of the Institute, writing proposal, establishing and managing a Learning Centre with multi-media exhibition facilities on Bioresource and Sustainable Living, as well as marketing and promoting educational programmes for the public.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in conservation, agriculture, fisheries, biology, environmental science, marketing or related disciplines, with three years of relevant experience. Experience in managing publication and good writing skills are preferred.

Initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of one year. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement.
