The department invites applications for the following post for a 18-month health project involving fitness training and testing for the elderly.
Senior Research Assistant (PR0020/20-21)
The appointee will work on a research project related to psychological and physical health for the elderly.
Liaising with community centres for subject recruitment, testing and training scheduling;
Supervising project assistants, exercise instructors and student helpers for project operation; and
Conducting administrative work, e.g. documentation, data collection, and reporting.
The appointee will be required to work beyond office hours or during weekends occasionally.
Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree, in sport or psychology-related field;
At least 3 years of post-qualification relevant work experience, preferably in the fields of health sciences, psychology, or public health;
Self-motivated and a good team player;
Analytical capability and effective communication skills; and
A good command of written English and Chinese.
Appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of 18 months commencing as soon as possible.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
