Assistant Finance Manager (Accounting and Budgeting Section) (PR0313/19-20)
The appointee will assist the Finance Manager in supervising a small team of accounting staff to perform a wide variety of tasks, including financial reporting and analysis, budgeting, participation in the compilation of annual financial report of the University and ensuring compliance of cost allocation guidelines of University Grants Committee, maintenance of the chart of accounts as well as provision of financial advices to faculties and administrative offices. The appointee will be responsible for handling full sets of subsidiaries’ accounts and assisting in the development of financial projections for existing/new projects of the University.
Applicants should have a relevant Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and/or membership of a recognized professional accounting body with six years of relevant work experience, of which three years should be at supervisory level. They should possess a strong analytical mind, good communication and interpersonal skills, willingness to accept new challenges, be computer literate and a self-starter. Work experience in a non-governmental organizations will definitely be an advantage. A good command of both English and Chinese (Cantonese and preferably Putonghua) is also required.
Initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to review and mutual agreement.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
