Clinical Division

Administrative Assistant (PR0186/19-20) 

The appointee will:

  • perform secretarial duties for the Director of Division;
  • follow up the logistic arrangements of a wide range of visits and seminars;
  • coordinate and provide administrative support to outreach clinical services, departmental meetings, working groups and committees;
  • liaise with internal units and external bodies and answer their enquiries; and
  • perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • post-secondary qualifications, preferably with a higher degree;
  • 3 years of relevant work experience;
  • proficiency in common computer applications including MS Office, Chinese word processing, excel and PowerPoint;
  • good interpersonal skills and a strong sense of responsibility; 
  • ability to work independently and under tight schedule;
  • self-motivated;
  • sound knowledge of Chinese medicine is highly desirable; and
  • immediate availability will be an advantage.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test.

Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of one year. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.
