ALUMNI AFFAIRS OFFICE

Officer (Database Administration & General Administration) (PR0257/19-20) 

The appointee will be responsible for database administration and general administration of Alumni Affairs Office. He/She is expected to:

  • manage the alumni database and keep it up-to-date;
  • provide data support for events and publications of the office;
  • perform data verification;
  • compile reports and analytics;
  • prepare eDM content and disseminate mass email to alumni recipients;
  • perform UAT for the enhancement of the database and other IT applications;
  • handle enquiries from alumni; and
  • support events and perform any other duties, as and when assigned, to build long term relationship with alumni.

Applicants should possess a recognised degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or related disciplines with three years of solid experience in related fields. They should be good at processing large amounts of data and should have some experience in database management. Knowledge of HTML and SQL would be advantageous. They should also have an excellent command of English and Chinese; strong interpersonal, analytical, organisational, and communication skills. They should also be attentive to details.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test.

Initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
