Project Officer (Herb-Drug Interaction) (PR0250/19-20) 

The appointee will assist in overseeing the administrative and research aspects of the research project relating to Chinese herb-drug interaction database and application in oncology. This project aims to build a brand new Chinese herb-drug interaction database that comprises herb-drug interaction (HDI) information acquired from deep-learning predictions, clinical and experimental evidences, and expert recommendations.

Major duties include:

  • assisting the Director of Division or his delegate in managing group of research personnel, oversee the research activities according to specific protocols, and  facilitate technical solutions and manage research equipment;
  • organising promotion activities, including local and international seminars and conferences, to publicize the research project;
  • administering various social media platforms of the project;
  • drafting research papers, books and leaflets about HDI; and
  • any other duties as assigned.


  • a Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Medicine or related disciplines, preferably with a Master’s degree and work experience in HDI and cross-background in bioinformatics as well as event management;
  • excellent written and communication skills in both Chinese and English; and
  • reliable, detail-minded, well-organised, able to work independently and in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
