Senior Lecturer / Lecturer (PR0500/18-19)  

The position requires applicants with expertise in Fintech while it is open to candidates with different backgrounds (such as finance, information systems or computer science). The appointee will work in a business school setting and will be required to teach courses on Fintech, to take a leading role in driving forward the Department's MSc Finance (Fintech & Financial Analytics) programme ( and to foster close links with the Fintech industry in Hong Kong, mainland China and internationally.

Applicants must hold, or expect to hold, a PhD degree. Those without a doctoral degree may be considered if their other qualifications are exceptional. They should also be able to demonstrate commitment to excellence in teaching and be willing to work collaboratively with colleagues.

Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of up to three years commencing January 2020 or later. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.

Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
