Research Assistant Professor (PR0062/19-20)
The SKLEBA invites applications for Research Assistant Professor in Mass Spectrometry and related areas. The appointee is expected to establish his/her own research team and conduct independent research. PhD degree in Analytical Chemistry and post-doctoral experience in bio-mass spectrometry and/or environmental toxicology is required. Experience with mass spectrometry imaging is preferred.
The SKLEBA and HKBU will provide start-up fund for the successful applicant. The SKLEBA has the best mass spectrometry facility in Hong Kong, including three new Orbitrap MS and Bruker Rapiflex MALDI-Imaging, as well as cell and animal rooms.
Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of two to three years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to performance review and mutual agreement.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
