GENERAL ADMINISTRATION OFFICE

Project Executive (Temporary - 5 months) (PR0066/19-20)        

The General Administration Office is looking for an energetic and self-driven candidate to assist in organising University-wide events and ceremonies. He/She will be required to:

  • coordinate and manage large-scale ceremonies and events;
  • prepare for event publicity materials;
  • handle and monitor marketing and communications tasks and activities with production house(s), including the production of promotion materials, website and publicity; 
  • develop and/or update a central database for guests; 
  • administer the website and on-line registration;
  • coordinate with the administrative offices and Faculties/Schools in all related matters; and
  • perform duties as assigned. 

Requirements:

  • Recognised qualifications, preferably in Communications, Public Relations, Advertising and Marketing, or related discipline;
  • At least five years of solid experience in event management/event marketing, public relations or marketing communications;
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Putonghua);
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Window-based PC applications, including MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint, and Chinese word processing;
  • A good team player with a strong sense of responsibility, able to work independently and meet tight schedules; and
  • Immediately available to work for 5 months.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
