Officer / Assistant Officer (Cost and Contract Management) (PR0204/18-19)   

The appointee will be responsible for providing accounting and budgeting services to the Cost and Contract Management Section, compiling periodic financial reports to the management and monitoring the expenditure of the budgets/accounts controlled by the Estates Office. He/She will also assist in the cost control and monitoring capital projects and alterations, additions, repairs and improvements works of the University. 

Applicants should have a recognised degree in Accounting or related disciplines with a minimum of five years of relevant work experience. He/She should possess strong analytical mind and be willing to accept new challenges. A high level of proficiency in computer knowledge is required. Candidates with less qualifications or years of related work experience will be considered for the post of Assistant Officer (Cost and Contract Management). Shortlisted candidates are required to sit for a written test.

Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.

Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
