Post-doctoral Research Fellow (PR105/17-18)
Dr. Stephen Hui Research Centre for Physical Recreation and Wellness is looking for suitable candidate to fill-up the post of Post-doctoral Research Fellow in the Exercise Science, Wellness and Public Health stream.
The appointee is expected to perform the following duties: (a) to be engaged in research activities with the expectation of publishing in leading journals in the field; (b) conduct research at a high standard as required by the supervisor; (c) play an active role in ongoing research projects and future research grants proposals within the Centre; and (d) coordinate the administrative duties required of the Centre.
Applicants should possess a PhD degree with relevant training, research skill, subject knowledge, expertise, work experience and with a track record of publication in international peer-reviewed journals or the ability to submit publications. They should have a research interest and plan in the following major areas such as (a) sport, physical activities and public health; (b) wellness/exercise promotion; or (c) exercise physiology. Applicants with a broader scope of research interest will be advantageous.
Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of two years commencing December 2017. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
