ALUMNI AFFAIRS OFFICE

Manager (PR099/17-18)

The appointee will be responsible for planning and managing alumni relations with a special focus on publications as well as alumni events/activities with the purpose of building a long term relationship with alumni. He/She is also expected to work closely with various Faculties/Departments, Alumni Groups to nurture a favourable environment for alumni relationship development.

Applicants should possess a recognised degree in Marketing, Communications or Business Management with at least ten years of solid experience preferably in higher education institutions or in marketing/PR capacity, of which at least three years at managerial level. Excellent command of written English and Chinese, proven track record of publishing print and e-versions of magazines, and implementing events and programmes that meet targets are essential. Knowledge and experience in social media will be an advantage. The appointee is expected to be an effective team leader with strong self-motivation and be able to work under pressure. He/She should also have strong interpersonal, analytical, organisational and communication skills.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
